FELIX  NOVO DE OLIVEIRA (BVK) WAS BORN 1978 IN HEIDELBERG AND GREW UP IN GERMANY, ECUADOR, SPAIN AND PORTUGAL UNTIL HE CAME TO HAMBURG IN 1997, STARTING HIS CAREER IN THE FILMINDUSTRY AS AN ASSISTANT CAMERA FOR MANY FEATURE, COMMERCIAL AND MUSICVIDEO – PRODUCTIONS IN GERMANY AND ABROAD. IN 2002 – 2007 HE STUDIED CINEMATOGRAPHY AT THE ACCLAIMED FILMACADEMY BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG, WHERE HE ALREADY HAD THE CHANCE TO SHOOT COMMERCIALS AND SHORTS, THAT WERE SHOWN ON RENOMATED FILMFESTIVALS AROUND THE WORLD AND HAVE WON MANY PRICES. 2006 HE ATTENDED THE SCHOLARSHIP „THE HOLLYWOOD MASTERCLASS“ AT THE UCLA IN LOS ANGELES AND 2007 THE „BUDAPEST CINEMATOGRAPHY MASTERCLASS“.  SINCE 2006 HE LIVES IN BERLIN WITH HIS SON AND WORKS AS A FREELANCE DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY FOR COMMERCIALS, FEATUREFILMS AND MUSICVIDEOS.
